The Plug West

The Plug-West (previously 'Hugo De Groot') is located on Frederik Hendrikstraat 123HS and is the latest addition to the coffeeshop scene in Amsterdam, officially opening 18th March 2022.

This is the second location for 'The Plug' who already operate a well established coffeeshop in the city centre, after teaming up with the guys at Utopia back in May 2018 to create 'The Plug Utopia'. That coffeeshop is located on Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal, right in the centre of Amsterdam, just behind the Royal Palace at Dam Square.

The menu at The Plug is quite extensive and usually stocks up to 20 strains of weed and a handful of high quality hashes. The menu is regularly changing and updated often with some of the best and most popular strains. This coffeeshop is takeaway only.
