Prix d'Ami

Coffeeshop Prix d'Ami is located on Haringpakkerssteeg which is a small alley just off Damrak, only one minute walk from Centraal Station.
This coffeeshop is easily the biggest in Amsterdam, although from outside you would never be able to tell, but this place is actually built on three floors with five smoking rooms and a cinema room.

At the entrance you will be met by the security guys at the door, but do not let that put you off, they are mostly friendly and just doing their job. Slightly further in there is booth style seating lined up both sides with a large open space at the back where the service area is. You can check out the menus on large screens above the bud tender area.

The second floor has two large smoking rooms on either side of the floor with TVs all around the walls which are visible from all areas.

The top floor has another smoking room the right with a glass smoking area for those who wish to use tobacco in their joints. The room on the right is the 3D movie lounge which shows many movies throughout the day. The seating on all floors is very comfortable here and it is definitely a place you can spend some time in and relax.

The menu is quite extensive here and usually stocks around 12 to 15 strains, with the menu split between sativa and indica sections. They have a good mix here with many of the old school hazes available. They also stock a few of the new popular strains but they regularly change. The hash selection is mostly very nice with around 6 types which usually available.
