Massawa

Coffeeshop Massawa is located on Chasséstraat in Amsterdam-West and is mostly frequented by locals in the area. Many of the customers here are Eastern European due to the location and it being largely in a multicultural neighbourhood.

Inside the coffeeshop it feels kind of like a pub with the bar/service area, but of course this is no pub or bar and is actually a nice quiet coffeeshop. There is stools provided around the service area and a few more tables down both sides.

The menu is on the small side with only a few strains available and a few types of hash. The hash is mostly imported from Turkey and Morocco and is usually of high standard. 5 gram deals are also available.
