La Tertulia

Coffeeshop La Tertulia is located on Prinsengracht in Jordaan district. This place is owned by a mother and daughter and has been a family ran business for quite some time. These guys have been part of the coffeeshop culture in the city since 1983 and one of the oldest current coffeeshops in Amsterdam.

The coffeeshop is very nice inside and out and quite easily recognisable from with the beautiful hand painted walls. Once inside it is no different, they have a garden inside the building which no other place has and this helps creates a unique vibe and atmosphere. This is very relaxing place and you can spend plenty of time in here. The service area is also near here. Further back and down a few steps is a small sitting area with a few tables and chairs. Upstairs is the main sitting area which has plenty of natural light, there are plenty of seats here and is quite spacious too.

The menu is a fairly priced here and the weed selection has around a dozen strains to choose from. Just like most place they only stock a few types of hash, but this is usually nice quality.
