Katsu

Katsu Coffeshop was founded in 1985 and is located on Eerste van der Helststraat in the popular De Pijp district of Amsterdam.
This area is populated by a large residential area but there are many cafes, shops, bars and restaurants near by. The most famous market in the Netherlands is 'Albert Cuypmarkt' which is only one street away.

Katsu is one of many nice coffeeshops in the De Pijp area and has a good reputation among tourists and locals alike. There is a terraced area outside the shop and all the establishments nearby take advantage by having seating areas out front. During the day it doesn't get too busy, but evenings and weekends it can be.

A TV is also provided on the wall which is on most parts of the day with sports is regularly shown here. To the back of the coffeeshop there are more tables provided with wooden seats.

In the centre is where the service area and menu is, which you will notice has some very nice options at a reasonable price. Mostly famed for their hash selection, but they also have some fantastic strains available. Strains like Black Widow Haze and Mango Haze regularly featured on their menu. Regarded as a connoisseur shop by many and you can see why. They like to keep things fresh and the menu is updated regularly. Check below for some examples of their menus.
