Kashmir

Coffeeshop Kashmir is located on Jan Pieter Heijestraat in the Oud-West (Old-West) neighbourhood. Vondel Park and Rembrant Park are not too far away from here. A few years back these guys operated as a DJ Cafe / Coffeeshop and one was of the first of its kind in Amsterdam. Every night different DJs would be playing here and this helped create an interesting atmosphere and become very popular. In 2012 they were awarded number 1 DJ cafe in Amsterdam by djmag.com

These days though the coffeeshop is across the street from the Kashmir Lounge. Inside it is quite small and you will notice the Arabic themed decor in which give a nice vibe to the place. There is a large seat as you enter and the service area is on the right where you can check out the menu. Stools are also provided in front of the bar. Further back there is another bench seat with plenty of cushions for extra comfort. Wooden tables and chairs are also provided out front.
