De Republiek

Coffeeshop De Republiek is located on Tweede Nassaustraat, in Amsterdam West, just outside of the city centre. This area is mainly residential, but does get busy from time to time due to the many shops in the area.

The coffeeshop is quite small, but does provide enough seating for customers to relax and have a smoke. The front area is where the service desk is and where you can check out the menu. There is a wooden table stretching across the window with a few seats provided. The main smoking area is upstairs, where there are a few tables provided. If you are in the area and the coffeeshop is quiet then definitely worth checking out.

The menu usually stocks around 12 to 15 strains of weed and around 8 types of hash. The prices are fair and the quality is good. You will see a similar menu in coffeeshops Siberie, De Supermarkt and The Loft as all 4 coffeeshops have the same owner.
