Barneys Lounge

Barneys Lounge is located on Reguliersgracht, just south of Rembrandtplein. This place is easily reachable by tram from most parts of the city. There are many hotels, restaurants and shops in this area. Also surrounded by lots of bridges and canals, including the Amstel river which has the famous Magere Brug ("Skinny Bridge") only a few minutes from the coffeeshop.

This place used to be Coffeeshop Jamaica until 2006 when they sold it to Barney's. This building is quite thin but the space is well used. As you walk in there is a table in front of the window and a long bench with bar stools on the right side where the service area is. This is also where you can check out their menu and purchase drinks and snacks. Further through there is more seating provided with larger table on the left. There is also a few volcano vaporisers available for use.

The menu is similar to the coffeeshop on Haarlemmerstraat and prices range up to €18 for the higher end strains. The quality is mostly excellent from here and these guys have won numerous awards over the years for their products. This place is a little less busy than the other coffeeshop, but still gets quite busy at times throughout the day and weekends.
