Barneys

Barney's opened in 1986 by the original business partners Paul Gould and Nicky Matthews. The coffeeshop was then sold to Derry in 1992 and has risen to become the Barneys that we all know today. The coffeeshop is located on Harrlemmerstraat and housed in a landmark building that has stood for hundreds of years. The decor is modern and in perfectly set lighting making this a nice place to chill and have a smoke.

Once upon a time they were called 'Barneys Breakfast Bar' but demand got so high while dividing the restaurant and coffeeshop that they moved their restaurant across the street, to a cannabis-friendly establishment called Barney’s Uptown. 

As you enter the coffeeshop you go down a few steps and it is set on 1 floor with benches and stools lined up down the left hand side past the dealer booth and service area. 

Just like their sister coffeeshop 'Amnesia' these guys have also been encouraging vaporiser use for many years and have multiple Volcano's available for you to use. 

Barney's is renowned for their many Cannabis Cup wins over the years and proudly display them in cabinets in the coffeeshop. Many believe this place is over priced but this establishment is usually full which speaks for itself. People from all over the world have been visiting Barneys for years to try their many cannabis cup winning strains. All of which can be purchased from their seed company 'Barney's Farm'.

If you find it is over crowded then you can always go over to 'Barney's Uptown' across the road.
